These policies are directed to the Gwin’s Lodge Website, Facebook page, Twitter feed, Instagram posts, and all offered Services (collectively, the "Services").



PRIVACY POLICY
We respect and are committed to protect your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you make a reservation via our site, make an inquiry via email or telephone, or make payment via our Website or on-site at Gwin’s Lodge. We will not sell or provide your personally identifiable information to anyone outside of Gwin’s Lodge or its affiliates. However, we may use your information to notify you about services and opportunities that may be of interest to you, to create and share internal reports, and for other marketing purposes. We may repost or use any comments, photographs, or any other content you post on the Gwin's Lodge Facebook page, on the Internet, or send to our attention. Please do not post or send us any information you do not want the general public to see. You may opt out of receiving information from us by notifying us at
office@gwinslodge.com with “OPT-OUT OF MARKETING MAILINGS” in the subject line.



SECURITY POLICY
We work hard to keep your payment and personal information safe and secure. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be intercepted and decoded over the Internet.



REFUND & CHECK-IN POLICY
A 50% deposit is required within five days of making the reservation for us to confirm and hold your reservation. The balance is due at check-in. 
Credit card transactions will including a partial credit card processing fee approximately 2% subject to change without notice. This processing fee may show up as a separate transaction on your credit card statement and is not refundable for cancellations.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: $15.00 processing fee is assessed on cancellations made at least 30 days prior to reservation arrival date. Deposit is forfeited for cancellations within 30 days of reservation arrival date. Cancellations within three days of reservation arrival date is assessed one-day's rental in addition to loss of deposit.

 

All lodging at Gwin's Lodge is non-smoking  and we reserve the right to levy a $200 penalty and charge additional fees to remove odors and repair damages.

 

The rates listed on our Website are for double occupancy, and additional persons are $20 per person (except Pine Cabins which are $10 per person). Up to two children age 12 and under may stay free with adults. Check-in is 3PM or later and check-out is 11AM.  Please call 907.595.1266 to arrange late check-in after 9PM or early check-in (if available depending on prior guest departure time and cleaning schedule).

 

Pets are welcome with a $25 fee per visit. All dogs must remain on a leash while on premises.

 

Merchandise returns are generally refunded in full if the merchandise is in its original, undamaged, clean, and unopened (if applicable) clean condition. Receipts are required for a full refund. Refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis.



MINORS
Minors (individuals younger than age 18) are not eligible to use the Gwin’s Lodge Services and no portion of the Services is directed toward minors. We do not knowingly or intentionally solicit any information about minors or market to minors.



DISCLOSURE
We cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use the Services for illegal activities. Therefore, we respond to subpoenas, warrants or other court orders regarding information concerning any users. We will, at our discretion, disclose information if we believe that we are required to do so by law, that such disclosure is necessary to protect us from legal liability or that we should do so to protect the integrity of the Services.



CORRECTION/UPDATING PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire to access Services, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove the data you provided to us. Please contact us by sending an email to office@gwinslodge.com.

CONSENT
By using the Services, you consent to our collection and use of the information described in these policies. If we decide to change our policies, we will endeavor to post those changes promptly. Please check our Website from time to time to make sure that you are aware of our latest policies.

About Gwin's Lodge

Established by pioneers Pat and Helen Gwin, Gwin's Lodge first opened in January 1952, before Alaska was even a state.

 

They began harvesting logs from the surrounding Chugach National Forest in 1946. Gwin's Lodge is the oldest surviving roadside lodge on the Kenai Peninsula. 

 

Gwin's Lodge has been an iconic and historic landmark, well-known for delicious home cooking and comfortable lodging. 

 

Gwin's Lodge is under new ownership and management. The entire property has been renovated and remodeled.
